Correct wiring method of temperature controller
Dec 20, 2024
The following is the correct wiring method of temperature controller:
● Disconnect power:
Before starting wiring, be sure to disconnect the power first to ensure safety.
● Determine the terminal:
There are usually multiple terminals on the temperature controller, each of which has a specific function mark, such as power input, sensor input, output control, etc.
According to the manual of the temperature controller, determine the function of each terminal.
● Connect the power cord:
Connect the live wire (usually red or brown) of the power cord to the power input terminal of the temperature controller.
Connect the neutral wire (usually blue or black) of the power cord to the neutral terminal of the temperature controller.
● Connect the sensor wire:
Connect the wire of the temperature sensor to the sensor input terminal of the temperature controller.
Pay attention to the positive and negative poles of the sensor to ensure correct connection.
● Connect the output control wire:
Connect the control wire of the device to be controlled (such as heater, cooler, etc.) to the output control terminal of the temperature controller.
Select the appropriate output control terminal according to the power and type of the device.
● Check the wiring:
After completing the wiring, carefully check whether each terminal is firm and not loose.
Make sure there are no exposed wires or exposed metal parts to prevent electric shock or short circuit.
● Restore power:
After confirming that the wiring is correct, restore the power and test whether the temperature controller functions normally.
● Adjust parameters:
According to actual needs, adjust the parameters of the temperature controller, such as set temperature, temperature range, etc.
I hope this wiring method can help you! If you have other questions, please feel free to ask me.
